Lunes 14 Septiembre 2015 8:45 - 9:45

Aljosa Pasic

He is member of EOS (European Organisation for Security) Board of Directors, and collaborates regularly with organisations such as ENISA, IFIP, IARIA, FI-PPP and others. There are a number of challenges that are specific and possibly unique to cybersecurity research and innovation that make it different from the other ICT topics. Some of these are associated with security and privacy market nature, but there are others such as trust, priority setting, moving targets etc. Few studies have been done among key stakeholders to understand different views from demand and supply side, focused on what and how should cybersecurity research address. This presentation will cover a wide range of issues related to alignment of research and practice, as well as drivers and constraints for market take-up of research & innovation results or integration into existing infrastructure, based on conclusions from several coordination and support actions in the last 8 years that the speaker was taking part of.
